I got a call early Saturday afternoon from Darrel offering to come out on Saturday. I called him back and explained that my warranty company wouldn’t pay an adder for week-ends or overtime and he said that was OK. I also told him as much as I appreciated the offer, I had a tight schedule as I was committed to a 50th wedding anniversary in a couple hours. He thought he could get here and finish by then and he did. He came out and identified the problem as a capacitor and quickly had it replaced. He called the home warranty company for authorization and waited at least 25 minutes to talk to them. I suggested he add some time to the bill but he said he was OK. I guess he finally got through as I told him go ahead and drive to his next appointment rather than waste any more time in my driveway. He did a nice job in fixing our heat pump/AC unit and he said he also treated it to minimize the chance of fire ants getting in and messing it up later which we often see around here. I was very pleased that he got here two days early, was easy to work with, and didn’t complain about having to deal with a home warranty company, even when he had to wait on hold for 25+ minutes to talk to them. His bill was $143. He said he only uses American parts and they are substantially higher but that they are warrantied for five years. If paying an extra $30 on the capacitor saves us a couple of days during the Texas summer without AC and also saves us another service call, it’s probably worth it. Thanks!

A/c quit working called MCM and they came out the same day and fixed it. And Leo the young man who came out was so friendly and professional.
I called these people from out of state to fix my mom‘s AC unit which had stopped working. Being in the great state of Texas you can’t go without air conditioning. They were able to get it looked at and repaired within 24 hours and take payment via phone. I’m very happy with the response time and service they were able to provide. I don’t know how much AC service typically runs but I also felt like it wasn’t very expensive all things considered.
MCM has been my go to since I moved to Texas. They are always quick to respond, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced. Tonight I had to call with an after hours issue. Without going into detail, I would not have been able to stay in the house overnight as things were. Their on call tech came out, quickly identified my issue, and spared me a night in a hotel or on a friend’s couch. To top it off, if anything, I feel like the price was way too low all things considered. These guys have MORE than earned my loyalty at this point. Thank yall so much!
