Our air conditioner stopped working properly and we weren’t able to get word out to our landlord until after we got home from work Monday. Darrel was here Tuesday evening and got everything fixed in no time. We are so grateful that he took the effort to get to our home and take care of things, rather than push us off until the next day. In addition to being incredibly skilled and SO QUICK, he was super friendly and just a great guy! We currently rent, but when we buy a home, MCM will be our go to as well!

We like MCM and use them often when we have Heating and air conditioning issues. They also have an after hours or weekend service that is a lifesaver because many times things have malfunctioned unexpectedly and not many places will work on weekends

I got a call early Saturday afternoon from Darrel offering to come out on Saturday. I called him back and explained that my warranty company wouldn’t pay an adder for week-ends or overtime and he said that was OK. I also told him as much as I appreciated the offer, I had a tight schedule as I was committed to a 50th wedding anniversary in a couple hours. He thought he could get here and finish by then and he did. He came out and identified the problem as a capacitor and quickly had it replaced. He called the home warranty company for authorization and waited at least 25 minutes to talk to them. I suggested he add some time to the bill but he said he was OK. I guess he finally got through as I told him go ahead and drive to his next appointment rather than waste any more time in my driveway. He did a nice job in fixing our heat pump/AC unit and he said he also treated it to minimize the chance of fire ants getting in and messing it up later which we often see around here. I was very pleased that he got here two days early, was easy to work with, and didn’t complain about having to deal with a home warranty company, even when he had to wait on hold for 25+ minutes to talk to them. His bill was $143. He said he only uses American parts and they are substantially higher but that they are warrantied for five years. If paying an extra $30 on the capacitor saves us a couple of days during the Texas summer without AC and also saves us another service call, it’s probably worth it. Thanks!
